Step 01
Step 01
Schedule a relocation consultation with Zoe Taylor or a Moving Medicine STL specialist.
We will talk through where you are moving from, where you will be working, your timeline, your budget, your family needs, and what matters most in your next home and neighborhood.
Step 02
Connect with a trusted physician lender.
Before touring homes, it is important to understand your loan options, estimated payment, cash needed at closing, and whether a physician loan, conventional loan, or another financing option makes the most sense. Many physicians benefit from comparing 2 to 3 physician lenders because rates, products, and guidelines can vary.
Step 03
Narrow your commute and neighborhood priorities.
We will compare commute times, school options, lifestyle preferences, resale considerations, and the neighborhoods that make the most sense for your medical position and your daily life.
Step 04
Begin touring homes in person or virtually.
If you are local, we will tour together. If you are relocating from out of state, I can help with video tours, neighborhood context, inspection coordination, and the details you may not be able to see from an online listing.
Step 05
Write a strong, informed offer.
Once you find the right home, we will review pricing, terms, contingencies, financing strategy, inspection options, and how to make your offer competitive while still protecting you.
Step 06
Move from contract to closing with a clear plan.
I will help coordinate inspections, appraisal, lender communication, title, timelines, walkthroughs, remote closing options when available, and the moving pieces that come with relocating for medicine.
Step 7
Land well in St. Louis.
The goal is not just to close on a house. It is to help you feel settled, connected, and confident in your new city, neighborhood, and home.
